EYEWEAR FOR MIGRAINE AND LIGHT SENSITIVITY:

Light sensitivity is one of the most common symptoms of a migraine, and for many chronic sufferers, certain kinds of light can actually trigger a migraine. Axon Optics eyewear features Axon's therapeutic FL-41 tint that filters out the harsh light, and has been clinically shown to reduce both the frequency and severity of migraines.  It also affords relief for those with general light sensitivity.

Lens Options:

Lenses: Axon offers two different tint densities for you to choose from: Indoor, which is lighter; and Outdoor, which is darker.  See pictures of the different tints by clicking here (opens new window). Transitions lenses have our indoor tint when inside a building or car, but turn dark when in the sun.  Our Polarized lenses are Extra Dark because they use our outdoor tint with polarization – they appear dark grey.  Polarized Lenses are available by special order only.  Please email for polarization.

Prescription: This frame can be fitted with your prescription, just select the appropriate prescription option. Progressive lenses are no-line multi-focals, and the Freeform Progressive option is the most advanced lens available, offering wider visual field. Please note that due to the wrap nature of this frame, corrections outside the -3 to +2 range may need to be filled with high-index lenses, which are an extra cost.

 

Anti-smudge treatment: Keeping your eyewear smudge free is important to maintain good vision.  You can add our anti-smudge treatment to limit fingerprints and grime buildup.
Anti-glare coating: Axon’s anti-glare coating is a microscopically thin multilayer coating that reduces reflections from both the front and back surfaces of the eyeglass lenses.
